Alison moved from Kent to Devon in the early 80s, then had a quick 2 year stint in Scotland, moved to France in 2009 and moved back to Devon in 2023. Alison loved drawing and painting at school, but didn’t pick up a paintbrush until 2009 when she moved to France and found she had some time on her hands. Alison is self-taught in oils and loves the colours and movement she can achieve on the canvas. She has enjoyed producing paintings for friends in recent years. Alison has recently joined the local art group in Sheepwash and is picking up new skills with other mediums.
